SESSION TIME NOTE: Please take special note that for bookings between December 1 2026 - 1 February 2027, there is a 'late session' tour which commences at 12:30am of the selected date.
For example: If you would like to book for the second session of the 'New Years Eve' tour on the 31st of December, you would have to select the 1st of January 2027 - 12:30am session.

- What's included in the price of the tour?
Laser guided naked eye tour of the night sky plus individual viewings through a powerful 10’’ Sky-watcher telescope. You will receive a complimentary photo with the night sky.
- What Telescope will be used for viewing?
Sky-Watcher 10" Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope.
- What if I have to cancel or change my tour?
Free cancellation or reschedule of your tour within 24 hour's notice of the tour start time.
- How should I dress?
Dress for the weather and be prepared for our cold Otago night time temperatures. Blankets are available during tours.
- Do you offer any type of shuttle service from Wanaka or Lake Hawea?
Unfortunately not at this stage.
- What happens if the weather is not favourable?
Our guides make every reasonable effort to provide a good night‑sky viewing. If conditions prevent a full experience, you may choose a full refund or a free reschedule. The weather conditions in the mountains can change incredibly rapidly and cloudy blustery days regularly turn into crystal clear, wind free nights.
- Is there a rate for children?
Yes children under 12 years are half price. Option to add children will come up under "Extras" when you book.
- Where do I go?
We are located at 798 Lake Hawea-Albert Town Road, just 12 minutes drive from central Wanaka, halfway to Lake Hawea. Detailed instructions will be issued once the booking has been made.
